I'm from the era when men were men and women went shopping. So I can max out my plastic with the best of them, but trolling Sandton City with sister Arwen - she of the defiantly alternative lifestyle - is too much. Especially when she's got me there on the pretext of kitting out for her brother's wedding… then starts drooling over a mauve T-shirt emblazoned with the glittering slogan: "Paint me chocolate and throw me to the lesbians."
